EnTree
Gamified, interactive, family-based transdiagnostic therapy that supports the development of children with mental health conditions.
The growing number of children experiencing mental health difficulties is leading to long waiting times, limited access to therapy, and high demands on families and professionals. There is a particular lack of offers for younger children that present complex topics such as emotional regulation and problem-solving in a playful, age-appropriate way.
EnTree addresses this gap by creating an interactive, family-centred therapy programme.
To give children clear and accessible therapeutic support, EnTree brings together three interconnected elements: a narrative app, a card game, and a therapist portal.

App
A digital storybook that brings therapeutic content to life instead of merely explaining it. Through a narrative, children encounter different emotions and see how characters deal with them—for example, through simple breathing exercises, calming strategies, or practical tips for difficult moments.
Instead of traditional therapy instructions, the app offers an engaging story that speaks to children intuitively and playfully introduces important emotional and social skills.
Card Game
The companion card game is a hands-on, playful addition to the app. Therapists can use it during sessions, and families can play it at home. Children can explore the content further with siblings, parents, or friends, talk about feelings, and bring strategies from the story into everyday life through play.

Dashboard
The dashboard is a professional tool for therapists. It helps them document the course of therapy, review progress, and tailor the app's content to each child's individual needs.
Our contribution
Meander Interactive develops the EnTree app and creates its child-friendly interaction and visual design. Our Meander Framework applies established design principles for children, making the content as accessible, clear, and inviting as possible.
Working closely with UKE and HTW Berlin, we adapt the therapeutic content so that it fits naturally into the narrative experience and feels intuitive to children.
